So here we are at Canyon of the Eagles just outside Burnet (pronounced burn it) Texas in “hill country “. It is on Lake Buchanan which was created when a dam was built to provide water to the local areas. Apparently 3 dams were built in a row and in fact are part of the Colorado River system.
